So recently I've been lovin me some Joanna Newsome. And Cam's been loving him some Van Dyke Parks. Then his friend Max comes over and tells us they did an album together. This is one of the songs. What kind of coincidence is that? Magic I tell ya!

I love OLIVES. and BUGS. But never, no never these things together!
Cam and Kelly slam poetry sesh:
me: baby squid
doesn't quite have yet command of its ten-tentacles
Cameron: awkwardly flailing
me: fear of the jack-fish drives it from its hiding bed
Cameron: fish escapes from its still soft beak
me: its soft malleable beak does not do the job
the fish bites back, the baby squid blushes
Cameron: and the mommy squid grabs the fish and tears it into a thousand pieces. the baby squid eats the tiny fish eyes with black x's on them'
me: all the plankton bow to the queen squid
I just erased all the stuff on my computer b/c i had mad viruses. I wonder if google saved cameron's and my slam poetry convos we have while he's being a desk jockey and I'm bored at home. They're always about baby something or other. My favorite one is on my facebook profile anywho.
