Even the name sounds scary. Wouldn't plugging up a highly pressurized leak with concrete just cause more pressure... and then an even larger rupture? Is everyone looking for a quick fix to make up for the fact that we didn't have relief wells in place before drilling exploratory wells like we ought to have? Don't such quick fixes usually result in even more dire consequences? Maybe I'm wrong, but in any case: que sera, sera.
